The Productivity Wall: A Single Screen Struggle

A few months ago, I set out to launch a business with one goal: to solve a real, frustrating problem. As I looked back on my own path, the answer became crystal clear.

In the summer of 2024, I graduated with a degree in Architectural Technology. Anyone who has ever opened AutoCAD, Revit, or Photoshop knows that workspace is everything. For four years, I lived through a logistical nightmare. Drafting complex architectural plans while constantly toggling between web research and reference files on a single laptop screen was exhausting. Even "simpler" tasks, like writing an essay or managing an Excel sheet, felt unnecessarily overwhelming.

I felt like something was missing—a tool that would allow me to work faster, stay organized, and keep my creative flow intact.

The Mobile Worker’s Dilemma

To compensate, I often chose to stay home to use my desktop monitor. My productivity skyrocketed, but it came at a cost: I lost the ability to collaborate in person with my teammates and ask my teachers direct questions.

Later, I realized this problem didn't end with graduation. I have always loved the atmosphere of working in cafes and libraries, but I faced the same recurring obstacle. My laptop screen was a bottleneck for my ambition.

The Birth of Nomad & Work

This realization led me to discover the "portable monitor." It was an immediate revelation. Even though I had never seen one before, I instantly understood its necessity.

I decided to develop my own model, TheNomad, focusing on the best possible specs for modern professionals. Whether you are a digital nomad, a remote worker, or a student, a second screen isn't just a gadget—it’s an essential extension of your office.

More Than a Business: A Personal Mission

Today, I am not just the founder of Nomad & Work; I am its most frequent user. Building a business from a home office can be isolating. Thanks to TheNomad, I can spend my days in my favorite cafes and be just as efficient as if I were sitting at a multi-monitor desk.

Unfortunately, the "past version of me" didn't have this tool. But today, I am determined to help other students and professionals ensure that their creativity and efficiency are never limited by the size of their screen.
